Electra-Steer assist steering is the newest technology being used by the major automotive manufactures to replace hydraulic power steering and is now available for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 Volunteer models. These units consist of an electric motor and power control module that utilizes state of the art electronics. The result is significant reduction of manual steering effort. These units also reduce steering wheel jerk caused by driving on uneven terrain.
