Job Summary:

A positive and talented Mechanic / Product Fabricator is needed to join the site team to design, fabricate and test new products focusing primarily but not exclusively on steering systems for both on and off road vehicles and other various products as well.  Position would work directly with the aftermarket divisions of Maval Industries, Unisteer Performance and WickedBilt.  The responsibilities associated with this research and development role are critical to maintaining a full product line.  Additional work would be performed on the show vehicles, displays, booths and other projects for the factory in general as needed.   

The involved work may include, but is not limited to, performing duties such as:

Job Duties:

  • Must be capable of following prints, diagrams, sketches, and engineering specifications as well as troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to team effort by safely accomplishing related responsibilities - results oriented.
  • Record factory dimensions of steering system applications
  • Remove factory steering
  • Document procedures for disassembly and assembly
  • Work with engineering department to develop bills of material

Job Requirements & Skills:

  • Professional Automotive skills or background
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience
  • Experience in metal fabrication and/or welding
  • Hands-on ability / willingness to work with a variety of different products
  • Ambitious, positive and self-motivated  - works under limited supervision
  • Ability to document and record work done including writing of instruction sheets
  • Able to prioritize work schedule and successfully perform responsibilities in order of importance while achieving deliverables and meeting due dates
  • Significant mechanical aptitude and previous related experience working on vehicles
  • Demonstrated knowledge / background in electricity, hydraulics, welding (stick, mig, oxy/act, etc.) and previous experience reading blue prints/manuals
  • Strong communication skills
  • Driver’s license with a clean record

Preferred skills:

  • Welding / Fabricating Certifications
  • ASE Certifications

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will use warehouse equipment such as a tow motor to handle and put product away.
  • Keep our digital inventory system up to date on product we have in the warehouse.
  • Arrange product so it is easy to find.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Candidate must have experience in a busy distribution center.
  • An understanding on how a tow motor works.
  • Ability to lift 100 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Inventory knowledge.
  • Computer skills.

Job Summary:

A positive and energetic  Sales personis needed to join the team to promote and sell productfocusing primarily but not exclusively on steering systems for both on and off road vehicles and other various products as well.  Position would work forthe aftermarket divisions of Maval Industries, Unisteer Performance and WickedBilt.  The responsibilities associated with this salesrole have an emphasis on product knowledge, customer care and technical support for both retail sales and dealer accounts in both the Hot Rod/Muscle car market and the UTV off road market.      

The involved work may include, but is not limited to, performing duties such as:

Fast paced sales position selling steering systems and related products Emphasis on product knowledge, customer care and technical support in both retail sales and dealer accounts.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for account maintenance and / or sales to an assigned customer
  • Focus is on the commercial activities of the account:  tracking costs, economics, feature differences and product plan, reconciling orders, processing and negotiating authorizations, presenting program status
  • Provide technical call assistance regarding products to customers and other interested parties
  • Exhibit excellent customer service
  • Travel to trade shows to represent the Maval Industries brand while selling product
  • Prepare presentations and reports to support assigned accounts

 

Job Requirements & Skills:

  • 1-5 years related sales and/or product work experience
  • Must have a passionate interest in UTV's, Hot Rods and muscle cars
  • Ability and willingness to work independently is a must
  • Must be capable and willing to learn and understand a diverse and complicated product line
  • General automotive mechanical skills or background
  • Superior communication and networking skills
  • Must be willing and able to travel
  • Basic knowledge of the market trends and the implications of those trends for the industry, customers, markets, and competition
  • Exhibits credibility and trustworthiness to customers and to the company
  • Basic selling skills—establishes relationships with customers
  • High endurance and energy levels
  • Technical skills to include working knowledge of MS office suite

  • Bachelors in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
